WHAT IS OCULAR SURFACE DISEASE?
Our ability to see clearly and maintain eye health depends on a delicate balance of the multi-layered tear film overlying the eye’s surface. With Tempsure® Envi, radiofrequency energy is used to gently and comfortably raise the temperature of the eyelid area, helping to unclog glands, improve their function, and reduce the symptoms associated with ocular surface disease. Our team may also prescribe additional treatments to provide optimal relief. In addition to treating dysfunctional tear glands, the Tempsure® Envi treatments boost collagen production, improving lid function while also reducing the look of fine lines and wrinkles in the eye area.

Is it safe?
Tempsure® ENVI is a safe, effective, and comfortable way to treat Ocular Surface Disease (OSD). OSD patients can now experience longer-lasting relief from symptoms like burning, watering, itching, and eye pain.
What should I expect?
Most patients describe a gentle warming sensation during the procedure that is not uncomfortable. It is normal to have some redness right after the treatment, but that resolves quickly. There is no downtime when you have a Tempsure® Envi treatment -return to work or play immediately.
Will I need more treatments?
Your eye care specialist will prescribe a series of treatments, or a combination of procedures, unique to your condition. To maintain optimum results, a postprocedure maintenance program will be prescribed to keep you seeing, feeling, and looking your best.
